The Next STEPP Center is a 501c3 nonprofit Christian organization meeting physical, social, emotional & spiritual needs of those experiencing unintended pregnancy or parenting. Located in the heart of “Midtown”, St. Petersburg, at 1210 22nd St. S. the Center helps families make positive life choices and supports them throughout the pregnancy and parenting experience. Our easily accessible, culturally responsive services are available to all regardless of age, race, ethnicity, orientation, military, religious, economic or marital status. All services are free and confidential.

Established in February 1993 as St. Petersburg Pregnancy Center, Inc. in response to the need for life-affirming services in the urban
community.

The center officially opened for service in December 1994.

A second office opened in Gulfport in January 2008. Located at 1000 55th St. So. in Gulfport, FL the office closed in 2013 as the leased space

Renovations of 1210 building— Became a Medical Pregnancy Center operating under the direction and supervision of a licensed Florida Physician. In addition to pregnancy testing, we offer STI testing, obstetric ultrasound, and onsite well woman exams including vaccines lab& work - all services are free & confidential.
OUR SERVICES

FUTURE NEXT STEPP DIVISION
Next STEPP Life & Living Center (proposed name) – Offers housing-related programs including: Gateway to Housing Security Program – provides funds for temporary motel stay for those qualified for rapid re-housing programs available through local agencies. Future housing security programs: The Open-Door project will provide safe shelter to 3-5 homeless families each night. The New Beginnings Program offers a safe, stable transitional living program for up to 20 expectant mothers or mothers/ fathers with children who are housing insecure. Prepare and refer families to programs for attainable housing units for families completing a transitional program. Connects families to first time homebuyer programs and grants.
